RAAB Oncology Clinic

Located at 302 Medical Park, the Raab Oncology Clinic had more than 12,000 patient visits in 2004, including 2,000 visits for chemotherapy treatment. Patients spend from 30 minutes to six hours (or more) per visit. They come daily, weekly or monthly depending on treatment recommendation. 

Personalized care is coordinated and delivered by Carteret General Hospital.  The Raab Clinic staff includes a full time Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, Radiation Therapists, Physicist, Nurse Practitioner, Certified Oncology Nurses, Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician.  

Carteret  County ranks sixth in the state for the number of incidents of cancer.  Increasing awareness and the importance of early detection is a priority at Carteret General. Screenings for skin cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer can detect cancer early so that patients can get back to enjoying life.  Advanced technology such as enhanced mammography with computer aided detection (CAD), cat scanning (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a linear accelerator and simulator are also available at the hospital.
